Clean V8 Juice Stains From Tile Grout

What You Will Need Before You Start

• Baking soda
• Scrubbing brush
• Liquid dish detergent
• Clean sponge or cleaning rag

Tiles are a great addition to any home. They are easy to keep clean, which is a huge bonus in a home with kids and pets. The grout between the tiles however can pose a few problems if it was never sealed properly after installation. The good news is that it is easy to clean V8 juice stains from tile grout so that you can restore the gleam to your floor or counter tiles.

1. Wipe off the tile and the grout to remove any crumbs or other accumulated grime.
2. Make a paste using the baking soda and liquid dish detergent.
3. Cover the stained grout with your cleaning paste and start to clean the grout with the scrubbing brush, using small circular motions.
4. Allow the cleaning paste to sit on the grout for fifteen minutes and then wipe clear using nothing more than a clean rag or sponge and warm water.

What You Will Need Before You Start

• Oxygen bleach
• Clean sponge
• White absorbent towels

Carpets can be tricky to clean if you don’t use the right tools and cleaning solutions to get the job done. To clean V8 juice stains however, you can typically use something as simple yet as effective as oxygen bleach to lift the stain out of the carpet fibers.

1. Use a clean towel or paper towels to blot up any excess juice from the carpet. Be sure to press firmly and not at all rub on the stain, otherwise you run the risk of further spreading the stain or driving it into the carpet’s fibers.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix a quart of warm water with a scoop of oxygen bleach. If using a liquid product, then you should use about an ounce of the oxygen bleach product.
3. Apply the cleaning solution to the stained carpet by blotting it with your sponge.
4. Saturate the carpet with the cleaning solution and then press firmly with a white towel to absorb the stain and the cleaning solution.
5. Repeat as often as is needed. Each time you pull the white towel up you should see signs of the stain working free from the carpet. When the towel comes up clean then you’ll know you have thoroughly cleaned the stained carpet.
6. Use another bowl of water clean water and another sponge and towel to blot up the excess cleaning solution from the carpet. Leaving any residue on the carpet will result in it turning into a magnet for dirt and grime.

Allow the carpet to dry thoroughly before anyone walks on it. A towel pressed firmly and weighted down a heavy object can help to absorb the moisture from the carpet.
